"That is not my baby girl?!?!"

That was Toby's reaction to the picture I text him today. I mean that is not my baby girl all grown up and in the middle of the "car action". This is so a parent moment...kind of like posting pictures of your kid when they eat food for the first time and they have it all over their face. It is just a day when you realize that you blinked and they grew up a little bit! I can hardly believe it but Ainsley Belle is in a front facing car seat! She loves it!
And Cade was so proud because he had helped put it in...he is such a big boy! They are too cute sitting side by side and too old!! I've got to figure out how to stop blinking!

Please pray...

Well today I need to ask that if you are reading this post...could you please pray that we sell our house in Fort Worth. We are so fortunate and have been able to stay in my brother and sister-in-law's house while we wait on ours to sell. Which is a HUGE blessing and God is so good to us to make that provision!!!! THANK YOU MIKE AND LEANNA!! I know we have told you a million times but one more time won't hurt, THANK YOU!

We do however really need to sell our house in Ft. Worth. We know that it is a tough economy right now, but we are trusting God's hand to continue to do the unexpected "Ephesians 3:20" in our life. But humble prayer and intercession on our behalf will definitely speed up that process! So it is with a humble heart that I ask you to pray. We believe God's power to sell the house and to abundantly provide for us in the process, moving isn't cheap :)...

A home is so personal. And our home in Ft Worth was God's house given to us for His purpose. And we want that purpose to continue as we try to sell it and move on to the new opportunities that He has for us in Weatherford, OK. I have added several pictures that we posted on various websites so you can pray over each room as it passes by. And really just wanted to give you a visual as you pray. We have so many special friends and family that I know pray for us and ask so often how they can pray specifically. Today is a day that I am taking you up on that offer. We are humbled by your prayers and so grateful for your role in our life. We don't deserve so much love, but we are so thankful for it!!! We believe God has sweet plans to prosper not only us, but the new owners of our home in Ft. Worth..will you pray for them too. Even though we don't know them yet:).

Praying for you and yours today!! THANK YOU!!!!

Precious Jesus,
Bless those that lift our family and the selling of our home in prayer. Provide for them in such sweet favorable ways and encourage them in their days. Love them with your kindness and give us opportunities to love them back for loving us through prayer! Thank you Jesus for all the amazing support you have given us as we are transitioning to Weatherford. Be with our spirits as we wait on you to sell our house. -Amen

Kind of a vulnerable day, thanks for hearing my heart! Love you all so very much!

A "My brain is oatmeal..." Kinda Day...

So I don't know if any other mother on the planet can relate to the day I am having today, but I am guessing (and hoping - smile) there are probably a few. I am having the kinda day where you just feel like your brain is a pile of mush and you have no vision or direction for your day, your kids, your home...ya just have a whole latta nothin'! Well, while I was in the middle of my "my brain is oatmeal" day I ran across this random video of the kids that we took a while back.

It is just an ordinary night at home, just hanging out.

The living room is a mess with toys but I could not resist posting this. Ainsley is chatting up a storm, she walks a bit, Cade is watching a video and eating something :), and then all at once they just have the sweetest little moment where they reach out to each other and give a hug and a kiss. Like I said there is nothing extra-ordinary about this video, but it pulled me through a kinda blah moment in my brain. Sometimes the most "ordinary" moments in life are the very extra-ordinary moments we are looking for.

Praying your eyes are open to all the extra-ordinary moments in your world! :)

SWOSU Scrimmage

Today was the first short scrimmage for Southwestern...it was so neat to see Toby out on the field and then afterwards seeing Cade right down there in the mix...hitting high fives, throwing passes and actually tried to tackle the defensive coordinator Todd Helton :)

We are so excited for the season and are looking forward to the spring game on April 18th...I will post more info about that when I get it...till then pray for a successful SWOSU season, GO BULLDOGS!!
