Trotter Family Mission Statement for 2010

We found this quote in a missionary magazine and we were so burden by the statement that we are praying this mission into the life of our family this year.

"We pray for and expect a daily divine appointment during which we might be able to share our testimonies, answer difficult theological questions, provide counsel or share the Gospel." ~missionary, Craig Miles

Praise God for His willingness to share Truth with His children and then offer opportunities to serve Him and those around us! He is such a good God!!

"I love you, God - you make us strong!" Psalms 18:1

"I love you, God - you make us strong!" Psalms 18:1
"Life is now a battle & a journey. As Eugene Peterson reminds us, 'We must fight the forces that oppose our becoming whole, we must find our way through difficult & unfamiliar territory to our true home.' It's not that there aren't joy & beauty, love & adventure now - there are. The invasion of the kingdom has begun - But life in its fullness has yet to come. So we must take seriously the care of our hearts. We must watch over our desire with a fierce love & vigilance, as if we were protecting our most precious possession. We must do battle with the enemies of our hearts those sirens, that would kill it outright. And we must journey forward toward God, toward the great restoration & adventures to come. How awful to reach the end of life's road & find we haven't brought our hearts along with us." - John Eldridge, Journey to Desire

The Trotter Family
As a family we love to laugh, and enjoy loving life. We are so thankful for the blessings we are afforded and everyday are learning more and more about the grace the Lord offers us! And for this group, it is a lot! Praise you God for your endurance and love over us and for letting us be caught up in your train of Victory! "The viewpoint to maintain is that we are here for one purpose only, to be captives in the train of Christ's triumphs." -My Utmost, Oct 24
