A big man and a little lady!

Well, the little people are growing up so fast...it is hard to believe how fast they are growing and it doesn't seem possible that Cade is 3 and Ainsley Belle is 1...it goes by way too fast. Seems like I have had "happy tears" more often than not these last couple of weeks. I have my days when I cannot possibly answer Cade's question that he has asked for the 50th time or days when I feel like I can't do anything right with Ainsley...but today, when I am holding a gagillion things in my hands plus Ainsley plus Cade's hand as we venture on up to the Southwestern Football field and I hear a little voice say "Momma I love you so much, I love you so much." I want this time to last forever...right in these crazy moments. When Ainsley is "singing" her gibberish in the back seat, and Cade is running drills in the house, when I'm sick as a dog and Cade keeps grabbing my hand and saying "You okay now mommie, you'll feel better.", and Ainsley giggles the sweetest giggle as I sing her to sleep...I am cherishing my precious babies right now, and I want to thank our friends and family that pray for them...keep praying Jesus into them, keep praying love and protection over them.

Trotter Family Zoopalooza

The Second Car in the Parking Lot!

So we decided to go to the zoo the Wed of Spring Break. At the Fort Worth Zoo Wed are half priced. Any normal Wed it would not be strange that we were planning on going to the zoo on that day...but we found out after Toby called the zoo and talked to the ticket office that it was like Black Friday for the zoo. The woman that Toby talked to was like honestly you should probably just not come...it's gonna be nuts!! Hahaha!! But it was the only day we were going to be able to go, so we decided to brave it.

So in true Trotter family form Toby and I scooped up the troops, a lunch, two coffees, a chocolate milk, a bottle of 2% milk, and grabbed some doughnuts to go and headed out to face the masses armed and ready to see some animals, even if it killed us!! For half price at that!! We anticipated traffic the whole way, Toby and I were just looking to fight off crazed parents and daycare crowds trailing troops of preschoolers through the jungles of the Fort Worth Zoo....but much to our surprise we sailed through the intersections, made a quick turn left, followed the yellow brick road and entered the gates of Wally World to find that we, The Trotter 4, had arrived and were the second car in the parking lot!!!! Victory was ours!

We waited for about an hour and a half and were probably the 5th family in the park. It was worth every early minute, because we had a blast! It was one of those times as a parent that you keep looking at each other and chuckling thinking "Is this really going this good...lol" When we left the park around 12 noon we walked past about 500 people in line waiting to buy tickets, no lie, and then another 200 at least being bussed in from the surrounding parking lots!!! I am laughing so hard because as we left Toby and I could not get over how we had been the second car in the parking lot...I mean the whole metroplex really did roll out for the zoo that day!!! It was worth every minute! This pic is of the kids and I waiting in the car before the park opened up...priceless memories that Toby and I will never forget! Precious....

Huddle/Prayer Cookout with our Central High School FCA

On the Monday night of Spring Break Toby and I were so blessed to join the Central High School FCA Huddle Cookout! The Vaughn family and the Selner family, who have been amazing volunteers for our Keller area FCA, invited us to join them. And as a surprise they had a special time of prayer over us, as we move to OK and to Southwestern OK University to coach. It was precious, and we realized just how special all those volunteers and students have been to our family. That is a unique "family" of sorts that we will stay connected with for a long time! Thank you Central FCA for being amazing, God has HUGE plans for you!!! God bless you and love you lots!!

I've missed you my e-family! :)

Poor little trotter times blog....It has gotten no love over the last several weeks!! We have had so much going on and on top of that no wireless internet, and no time to just hang at a Starbucks drinking a latte and updating our e-life!

BUT....we are hooked up and running fast and furious, and I am updating as fast as I can. So I am going to just bombard this little blog with updates. I thought about going back and updating the last two months worth of life, but that was just too much. So I am going to start from Spring Break and work my way up...I know you have all just been sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for a Trotter family update :) Just kidding, I love you all and send big hugs and kisses to you..

PS...I got the most adorable little computer, a lenovo ideapad, and it has a fun little camera to take pics and video..Ainsley and I thought we would try it out :) she was too busy looking at the computer keys to look into the camera, too cute and I loved how it captured her fuzzy hair (and mine for that matter, oh my!)!

P-31

Cari had a friend of hers that did a talk on "P-31's." The talk was on women that can be characterized by Proverbs 31. On the cusp of V-Day 2009, I am here to say that I am married to the original P-31. Now Cari does not "select wool and flax" as it were in the text, but whether literally or figuratively my wife "surpasses them all" (vs. 29).

In Jesus' name, I "out kicked my punt coverage" which in other words means I have no right being married to her and God's grace is exemplified everyday when people look at us and say,"wow, how did she end up with him....sad." If I had a dollar for all the people in my life that said I have gotten where I am because of my wife (vs. 23), I would retire. I have had 3 interviews where I have taken my wife to the interview and I got every job (vs. 11) . Because my wife is a P-31, our entire house, curtains, bedding, accessories and birthday gifts are all spectacularly created by my wife (vs. 18, 19, 22).

A couple of things I am sad about: 1.If we had servants, Im sure she would provide portions to them....but we don't. (vs. 15) 2. We have not yet achieved buying a vineyard with her earnings but that is definetely desired (vs. 16).

I know this: Cari is "clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs at the days to come", she is in complete faith steps with the Lord. "She speaks wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue", as women are challenged through her calling of encouragement. She is fully surrendered to God's anointing over her life and she is seeing Him open doors she never thought possible. She is fully obedient to the Holy Spirit and it is seen in how she mothers her children, and submits herself to our family.

On this Valentine's Day, I have this prayer for my beautiful wife Cari. "That her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, he praises her. And with her calling intact, intent on her focused steps with God as a wife, mother, and minister, I pray God "gives her the reward she has earned," which from knowing Cari is simply to be used to the fullest to Glorify her father.

Cari, I love you. YOu are my cherished. May you know how much you mean to me.
